Cross stitch
I found a really great tutorial on how to use waste canvas to cross stitch designs onto fabrics that aren’t “evenweave” fabrics.
I’ve been toying with the idea of incorporating vintage hankerchiefs somehow into the wedding … but printing invitations onto fabric is quite expensive and seems to be a DIY night mare. Perhaps cross stitching our wedding date and our guests initials onto hankies would be a sweet (if not time/labor intensive) give away?
